1st half is instrumental and is reminiscent of a more Spartan John Fahey slowed way down (but without the pitch change). 2nd half adds plaintive vocals and after "Chrissy's Home" the guitars/dulcimers (?) are more focused, sprightly and more conventionally melodic (compared to the first half). A lo-fi gem. Anthony Childs

During the final days of writing my thesis I listened to this album on repeat for hours at a time. It was like being suspended in one eternal moment while all that changed around me were the ripples and eddies of a slowly meandering river. catharina_bee

Yep...this is a North-Westerner, alright. Originally being just south of Duluth myself, from Barnes/Drummond/Hayward, Wisconsin, this sounds exactly like the style we recorded back in the day, as well. Reminiscent of the local band days there. A great feel of synthesized chaos and sporadic vocal madness. I am loving it. Keep up the awesome work.
